The comfort and softness of wool, enhanced by the original shades of hand-dyed tie and dye colouration. The skeins of wool are twisted and then immersed in successive colour baths. The wool is randomly dyed in multiple shades, creating subtle gradations of colour. Hand-woven by expert craftsmen, each rug is a unique piece, a guarantee of exacting craftsmanship and exceptional quality. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Genuine decorative elements offering thermal and acoustic insulation, they add a unique and warm touch to your home furnishings. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 4800g/m² • Pile height: 20mm Quality Info Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. As well as being hard-wearing and durable over time, wool rugs provide acoustic and thermal comfort. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the carpet "bursts" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove lint as much as possible by hand and definitely do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode because this has the effect of pulling the fibres and tearing them out.. The pilling will improve over time. • We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much, always without using the brush. • Remove stains immediately with a clean damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. I really like the Mutanya hand-woven wool rug for its textured, artisanal appeal. Its multicoloured, pebble-like pattern makes it quite versatile, working well in contemporary, boho, or even Scandinavian-style interiors. It’s a practical choice for adding warmth and comfort underfoot without overwhelming a space - ideal for living rooms or bedrooms. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral furniture to let the rug be a statement or mix in some colour-coordinated accessories for a more eclectic look. Its hand-woven quality also lends itself well to layered or slightly relaxed arrangements, emphasizing a cosy, lived-in feel.
