From the Muse collection by Jonathan Adler, this vase pays homage to the figure of Gala. Married to Paul Eluard, then Salvador Dali, this woman, who was a muse for these two geniuses, inspired a number of intellectuals they frequented. And especially Max Ernst, with whom she had a short relationship. Sculptural and atypical, the vases by Jonathan Adler have the peculiarity of bringing out in relief, poetically and surreally, parts of the body (face, nipples etc) borrowed from these idealised women whom our greatest artists took as their muses. This version decorated with original patterns combining pink & black is a limited edition.
