I’m a fan of this rustic brown shelving unit because the open tiers and bottom cupboard combine display space with hidden storage - ideal for keeping clutter out of sight. The wood-effect shelves and slim black frame suit industrial, modern farmhouse or Scandi-inspired rooms, and they’ll tie in nicely with metal-framed lighting or ash-wood furniture.
For styling, alternate books with small objects and potted plants to break up straight lines, and use woven baskets inside the lower cupboard for toys, office bits or spare cables. A couple of framed prints on the top shelf will complete the look without overcrowding.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
