I’m a fan of this Dallas bookcase for its mix of open and concealed storage, the warm mango-wood finish and the slim metal legs that lift it off the floor. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired, mid-century or modern eclectic spaces, where you want furniture that’s both light in appearance and practical.
To style it, alternate stacks of books with decorative objects or small plants, vary heights to keep your eye moving, and use the bottom cupboard to hide away less attractive bits (chargers, paperwork). A couple of woven baskets in the lower shelves will add texture, while leaving some sections empty prevents the overall look from feeling cluttered.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
