This piece is a soft focus interpretation of themes often used in dutch floral painting. The flower forms have been reduced to abstract forms with very little detail, but if you look closely you will see peonies, iris, tulips and lilies. About Liz Innvar Liz Innvar taught herself how to paint with gouache by trial and error - and lots of experimenting. Her background in horticulture as a garden designer informs her paintings, which primarily feature florals and landscapes.
