Featuring William Morris' distinctive and intricate Seaweed print, this rug is made using a wool-rich blend for the perfect balance of softness and strength. This rug is tufted by hand, meaning that wool is injected into the back of the rug with a tufting gun, holding the wool firmly in place. William Morris (1834-1896), artist, philosopher and political theorist, was one of the most outstanding and influential designers of the Arts & Crafts Movement. His legacy continues today with Morris & Co., curating beautifully crafted fabrics, wallpapers and home accessories inspired by his original designs. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
