Description
Blackthorn, designed for wallpaper by J.H. Dearle in 1892, was first adapted for machine printed fabric in 1975 and became hugely popular. Today's versions are reproduced in authentic colours, matching the original wallpaper samples and the mottled appearance gives the fabric a hand-printed look.

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
