I’m a fan of this pirate cabin bed for the way it marries a clean white frame with playful graphics - kids get a ship to explore, and you still end up with a neat, streamlined look. It’s especially well suited to coastal-inspired, Scandi or contemporary interiors where you want a pop of personality without overwhelming the room. Keep styling simple by sticking to a palette of navy, soft greys and pops of red. Layer in striped or textured cushions, a rope-style pendant light and a nautical-print rug. Use the under-bed space for wicker baskets or fabric boxes in coordinating colours, and add wall hooks for pirate hats, a map decal or a framed ship illustration to tie the look together.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
