This fabric features vibrant moorland plants and flowers scattered across a deep black background, creating a stunning contrast. Crafted from 100% polyester, these curtains are designed to elevate your space with their delicate floral detailing. Tailored to your exact measurements and available with a selection of headers and linings, they bring timeless elegance and a touch of nature indoors. Natural History Museum x Dunelm These curtains are part of the Moorlands collection. The wild and rugged expanses of moorland habitats have been a rich source of inspiration to poets, playwrights and authors for generations. While they may at first glance appear desolate, in fact they support an array of specialist wildlife, from red deer and mountain hares to birds of prey such as hen harriers and merlins. Often dominated by heather, moorlands are also characterised by low-growing shrubs, grasses and bog-mosses often on damp peaty soils. Bog-mosses or Sphagnum form ‘living carpets’ that absorb vast amounts of carbon, so it is vitally important that we protect these habitats. Through our collection with the Natural History Museum, we want to draw attention to these incredible landscapes, treasured by walkers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. © The Trustees of the Natural History Museum, London 2025. Our Stylist Says

I love the Moorland Velvet curtains for bringing a luxurious and cosy feel to a space, thanks to their rich velvet texture and vibrant botanical print. They work particularly well in traditional or eclectic interiors, where they can add a touch of opulence or serve as a statement piece. For styling, pair these curtains with neutral walls and simple furniture to let the fabric and pattern shine, or use them as a pop of colour against more subdued decor. Practical tips include opting for long, floor-grazing lengths to maximise their impact, and considering thermal lining for extra insulation and soundproofing, perfect for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
