Description
The Moonlight Glimmer Abstract Framed Canvas captures attention with its striking abstract design, elevated by hand-applied silver metal leaf. The metallic accents add a subtle shimmer, reflecting light beautifully and creating a sense of depth and movement. Sophisticated yet versatile, this artwork brings a touch of contemporary elegance to any interior, whether styled in a living room, bedroom, or hallway.
Our Stylist Says
I love this moonlight glimmer print for its versatile, contemporary appeal. Its balance of muted greys and subtle gold accents makes it a great focal point in a modern or minimalist interior, adding a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space. It's especially effective in neutral lounge schemes, bedrooms, or even dining rooms, where it can be paired with sleek furnishings or textured fabrics. For styling tips, I recommend hanging it at eye level above a sofa or sideboard, and pairing it with complementary accessories in similar tones-think brushed gold or matte black frames, or lighting that enhances the metallic details. Its square shape makes it adaptable for both larger wall spaces or grouped arrangements with other abstract pieces.

About Barker and Stonehouse
A Remarkable Journey
Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.
Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.
Sustainability at the Forefront
From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.
Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons
Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.
They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
