I’m a fan of the black Monza table for its clean lines and slim, tapered legs - it feels light in a room despite its solid top. It suits minimalist, industrial or Scandi-inspired interiors and can double as a compact dining table or a home office desk without looking bulky.
For styling, layer a neutral jute rug underneath and pair with lighter-tone chairs to create contrast. A couple of ceramic vases or a slender lamp keep the surface uncluttered, while a small potted plant adds a touch of warmth. Its 120 cm length is practical for two to four people, so it works equally well in a snug flat or a loft space.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
