I’m a fan of the Monti bedside table for its pared-back lines and ribbed drawer front, which adds just enough texture without overwhelming the room. The muted grey finish slots seamlessly into Scandi, contemporary or minimalist schemes, and the lower shelf is ideal for stashing a few favourite reads or a small storage box. Styling tip: top with a compact lamp and a low-profile vase or an alarm clock to keep the surface clear. On the shelf, stack two or three coffee-table books or a basket to corral chargers. Its slim profile makes it equally useful as a hallway console or next to an occasional chair for a compact, organised look.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
