Our Montese collection has a simple but pleasing design inspired by traditional Chinese cabinets and is produced by our skilled craftsmen to the highest standards using responsibly sourced hard wood and veneers. All cabinets are made using a combination of solid Sassafras wood, from the Oak family, and ash veneer. The solid wood parts are brushed and finished on a clear laquer to give them an aged look that will look great on any room set. This stylish bookcase is ideal for storing and organising your collection of books or perhaps CDs or DVDs over three shelves. The central shelves are both adjustable to tailor the space to suit your requirements. The very handy 2 door cupboard is great to put away any item that is not used on a daily basis. The top is ideal to display a favourite photograph or a houseplant. These attributes combined with a simple construction for easy assembly makes it a great value product to be taken home today.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
