Description
These troublingly realistic monkeys are invading our gardens and terraces. They are turning our exteriors into a jungle, as if to remind us, that in very distant times, they were the ones who inhabited the planet! Very fun and quirky, these resin lamps perfectly imitate out primate cousins in several postures: standing, seated and hanging. In their hands, they hold not a banana, but a bulb to lighten our evenings and perhaps our spirits! By creating this collection, the designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is exploring themes like the relationship between man and nature, art and design, philosophy and they way things are. These sculptural objects, at the boundary between art and design, create a dreamlike and fantastical world. This monkey is wall mounted thanks to an included wall fixation. This wall light is equipped with a cable ending in a plug to be plugged into the mains.
