Description

Striking lines. This extremely soft pure wool rug is covered with lines that reveal a terracotta-coloured weft. Geometric shapes emerge to create an almost perfect grid. As if inspired by abstract artists. All our rugs are handcrafted, a guarantee of quality and uniqueness. Real decorative elements, thermal and sound insulators, they warm the atmosphere. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 2000 - 2100g/m² • Pile height: 5 to 10mm. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Sizes • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cmDelivery:. Available for home delivery.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug for its timeless, minimalist appeal and versatility. The Mondria's neutral tones and simple grid pattern make it a perfect anchor piece in both contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. Its 100% pure wool hand-knotted construction adds a layer of natural texture and durability, ideal for living rooms or bedrooms where comfort underfoot matters. Practical styling tips include pairing it with light or neutral furniture to highlight its subtle pattern, or layering with a textured throw or cushions for added warmth. Because of its understated elegance, it works well in open plan spaces, adding visual interest without overwhelming the room.

About La Redoute

Founded in 1837, La Redoute brings French-inspired style and elegance to your home. From trendy pieces to enduring essentials, La Redoute provides options to create a stylish and inviting space.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

Championing Social Responsibility

Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
