Price History
Description
Sinuate pendant lamp by Moebe is a sculptural ceiling light where Japanese paper is shaped into a soft, undulating silhouette through tension—entirely without glue or traditional fastenings. The pendant consists of two thin sheets of paper with small perforations that attach to a star-shaped detail in stainless steel or brass. When the paper is tensioned in place, the characteristic curved form emerges, giving a soft, decorative expression. Sinuate casts a pleasant light and becomes a striking focal point above the dining table, kitchen island, or in the living room.
Our Stylist Says
I love this piece for its contemporary yet approachable aesthetic - the white-brass finish offers a soft, warm tone that complements a range of interiors. Its sculptural form makes it a real statement piece without being overly bold, making it versatile for both modern minimalist spaces and more eclectic schemes. It works particularly well over dining tables, in open-plan kitchens, or as a centrepiece in living rooms. For styling tips, consider pairing it with sleek, understated furniture to let the lamp’s design stand out, and hang it at varying heights in larger spaces to add visual interest and character. Its size and form also lend well to layering with other textures and materials for a balanced, cohesive look.
