Description
Sinuate pendant lamp by Moebe is a sculptural ceiling light where Japanese paper is shaped into a soft, undulating silhouette through tension—entirely without glue or traditional fastenings. The pendant consists of two thin sheets of paper with small perforations that attach to a star-shaped detail in stainless steel or brass. When the paper is tensioned in place, the characteristic curved form emerges, giving a soft, decorative expression. Sinuate casts a pleasant light and becomes a striking focal point above the dining table, kitchen island, or in the living room.
Our Stylist Says
I love this pendant lamp for its blend of sculptural simplicity and modern elegance. Its large size makes it a striking focal point, ideal for high-ceilinged living rooms or modern open-plan spaces. The white-brass finish adds a subtle touch of sophistication that works well in minimalist interiors, Scandinavian-inspired schemes, or even eclectic settings where you want a piece that balances form and function. For practical styling, consider pairing it with subdued, neutral-toned furnishings to let the lamp stand out, or hanging it above a dining table or kitchen island for a contemporary centrepiece. Its understated yet distinctive silhouette makes it versatile enough to complement both classic and contemporary interiors.
