The slightly washed tones on the wood show off the natural patina and exude a calming and laid-back feeling. With glass fronted door, shelves and drawers sit within the cabinet for the perfect combination of storage styles. Finished with simple, brass hardware that stands out from the lighter wood, this cabinet is the perfect addition to our French Blue trend.

I’m a fan of the Modica cabinet for its softly weathered oak finish and clean, arched silhouette - it brings a relaxed sophistication without feeling overly formal. It sits equally well in coastal, Scandinavian or modern farmhouse interiors, teaming perfectly with natural textiles and subtle accent colours.
For styling, mix books and vitrines on the upper shelves, alternating vertical and horizontal stacks, then introduce small vases or sculptural objects to break up the lines. Use the lower drawers to hide paperwork or extra linens, keeping the glass-front section uncluttered.
