Description

Mira Touch Stick Table Lamp, Navy

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Mira Touch Stick Table Lamp in navy for its clean, contemporary look and versatile style. Its deep navy shade adds a sophisticated pop of colour that works well in modern, coastal, or scandinavian interiors, but it can also add a fresh touch to more traditional spaces. The slim design makes it ideal for bedside tables, desks, or consoles where space is limited, while the touch switch offers effortless functionality. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral bedding or soft furnishings to let the navy stand out, or mixing it with metallic accents for a sleek, modern vibe. For added texture, consider placing it alongside natural woods or textured fabrics to create a balanced and inviting atmosphere.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
