Description
A cult design object, the Pipistrello lamp is constantly renewing itself. This mini version is a real nomad: wireless and rechargeable, it can be used anywhere in the house! This portable lamp is an exact replica, on a smaller scale, of its larger sister designed in 1965 by Gae Aulenti. Equipped with a battery and a micro-USB charger, this wireless lamp has a 6 hour battery life. The touch dimmer on the base enables the intensity of the light to be adjusted. The Minipipistrello lamp will look great everywhere: on a desk, a shelf, a console or a bedside table. It is equipped with an energy-saving and efficient LED source. The Pipistrello lamp is easy to recognise, with its famous undulating lampshade, resembling a bat ("pipistrello" in Italian). The shade is in opal white methacrylate and the base is aluminium. It gives out a pleasant diffuse light. Mythical, showcased in the greatest museums around the world, Pipistrello is one of those objects that have become part of our universal heritage. The lamp is made according to the original 1965 model, in Italy, by the factory Martinelli Luce. Delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
