The MINI GEEN-A cordless lamp is a take on the floor lamp version, whose sleek and intriguing lines have been retained to offer you an ultra-functional and portable reading lamp, that can be used where and when you need it. Designed by Ferruccio Laviani, the cordless Geen-A MINI lamp is made entirely from steel. It consists of an assembly of simple geometric shapes, round and balanced. The large dome that forms the lampshade is surmounted by a handle for easy movement. The cordless Geen-A MINI lamp has a dimmer that adjusts the light intensity. Suitable for outdoor use, it’s a wonderful portable product that you can move around as you like, from the house to the garden. A little reading lamp in the lighting or a spot lighting in an entrance hallway, it will be ideal for creating a superb lighting ambiance during your meals and evenings in the fresh air. Ferruccio Laviani explains: "The idea was to create a simple lamp that wasn't overly technical, but rather decorative. The lampshade is reminiscent of an oriental headdress, so much so that Kartell immediately renamed it "the Chinese girl". You can't always be sprawled in an armchair or on a sofa to read and write, which is why Geen-a transforms into a little table, desk or bedside lamp. I love picturing it on my desk while I sketch, or on the table during an intimate dinner, or on the terrace while we dine with friends, or even on my bedside table as I do some bedtime reading. A functional object that becomes a discreet, compact companion that can go wherever you do."
