Description
The iconic mini AJ Table Lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957 for Copenhagen's SAS Royal Hotel and is available in an assortment of striking hues, including its original stainless steel finish by Louis Poulsen. Two geometric shapes allow the shade to direct light exactly where needed, making the AJ a perfect task or reading light. Crafted from stainless steel and moulded zinc, the inside of the shade is painted white for soft, comfortable light and the angle is fully adjustable to the user's needs. The sculptural lamp is produced by Louis Poulsen, a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in 1874. Through collaborations with renowned designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Louis Poulsen has established itself as one of the leading architectural lighting producers in the world. Requires: 1x max. E27 60W bulb (not included).
Our Stylist Says
I love this little lamp for its bold pop of colour and sleek, minimal design. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors, adding a cheerful accent to desks, bedside tables, or shelving units. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral tones to let the yellow ochre stand out, or using it to add personality to a monochrome scheme. Its compact size makes it versatile for smaller spaces or as a statement piece on a cluttered surface. Overall, it’s a smart, functional addition that brings warmth and a touch of playfulness to any room.
