Pocket sprung for extra support, the platform-top divan bases are available in a choice of upholstery fabrics and have optional storage drawers. The mattress in this divan set is 34 cm deep and has no less than 8000 pocket springs in king size plus all-natural fillings of cotton, Hampshire wool, silk, and cashgora – an ultra-soft fibre produced by cross-breeding angora and cashmere goats. You can also choose from three different comfort ratings to find the mattress feel that’s perfect for you. It’s hand-tufted and hand tape edged, finished with a cotton viscose cover, and has eight handles for easy turning and rotating. The firm-edge platform-top divan base has 1000 supportive pocket springs in king size and has a choice of storage drawers. Complete the look with the beautifully buttoned Millbrook Beds Minley floor standing headboard. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress). We recommend the use of a mattress protector.
