Taylor, a buttoned headboard with a single horizontal row of fabric-covered buttons, striking the perfect balance between simplicity and character. Proudly made and upholstered in the UK using carefully selected, high-quality materials for lasting comfort and style. Each bed is made to order, handcrafted by skilled upholsterers, and finished in your choice of beautiful fabrics. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
