Description
Studio Job brings together two free spirits, Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel, renowned for their rebellious, nonconformist way of creating a unique world. With the Milk stool, they had fun with our collective memory by ironically revisiting the three-legged farm stool, used to milk cows. The Milk stool is made of fibreglass. Looking like it’s straight out of a cartoon, it’s adorned with raised patterns that intentionally mimic carved raw wood. The old-fashioned shape, coming from the rural world, is completely updated by these playful, naive graphics and a palette of modern colours. An explosive mix of classic style and dissonant patterns for a wilfully daring result. A piece of furniture full of fantasy that entertains with its irony. This stool can serve as a side table next to a sofa or bed.
