Description

Inspired by mid-century design the Livingandhome Direct armchair complements any interior with its neutral colour scheme. It features a sturdy wooden frame with woven rattan panels on both sides adding a light and airy feel. The chair includes padded seat and back cushions for excellent support and comfort allowing you to relax in your preferred position. This armchair is a stylish and comfortable addition to any living space.

Our Stylist Says

I love this armchair for its blend of classic mid-century style with natural textures, making it a versatile addition to various interiors. Its rattan armrests add warmth and a tactile quality that pairs well with both modern and vintage-inspired spaces. It works particularly well in living rooms, reading nooks, or even a bedroom corner, where it can serve as a statement piece or a cosy spot to unwind. For practical styling, consider layering with neutral or earthy-toned cushions to enhance comfort and visual interest, and position it nearby other natural materials like wood or linen for a cohesive, relaxed look. Its understated beige upholstery also makes it easy to incorporate into different colour schemes, from muted tones to more vibrant palettes.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
