Description

Our Microfleece Jumbo Throw is the epitome of comfort and versatility. With its large 180 x 250cm size and plush microfleece fabric, it's perfect for wrapping up on cold nights. Whether you choose the serene sage or the rich charcoal, this throw is a stylish addition to any living space, ideal for styling for any living room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

The microfleece jumbo throw is a versatile addition to any interior, offering both style and practicality. I love its plush, cosy feel, which makes it a perfect layer for adding warmth and texture to a bed or sofá. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or relaxed farmhouse interiors where understated comfort is key. For styling tips, drape it loosely over the foot of your bed or fold it neatly on a sofa to create an inviting, lived-in vibe. Its neutral heather colour blends easily with a range of colour palettes, making it an effortless way to add a touch of luxe casualness without overwhelming your scheme.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
