Designed to emulate iconic chandeliers from five of the world's most distinguished concert halls and theatres, the medium-sized Neverending Glory Metropolitan Opera clear pendant light is the work of design duo Jan Plechác and Henry Wielgus. Created for prestigious Czech lighting manufacturers, Lasvit, the sophisticated collection showcases the designers' free-spirited creativity and imaginative innovation. Hand-blown by artisanal craftsmen, the medium Metropolitan Opera clear pendant light has a fluid, captivating silhouette, inspired by the 'Sputnik' chandeliers suspended throughout its namesake opera house. To create this design, Plechác and Wielgus took the original chandelier muse and rotated it to form new lines, which appear ephemerally still yet continually in motion. Employing precision skill and the finest traditions and techniques, Jan Plechác and Henry Wielgus have interpreted the nostalgia of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York in this opulent, modern pendant light.
