Created from the pursuit of new methods for creating lighting designs, the Meteorite 35 Pendant Light by Pio and Tito Toso transports Venetian ‘beaten’ glass techniques into a contemporary form. Using a completely unique and specially designed glass-blowing and grinding process, the Meteorite 35 Pendant Light obtains impressive depth with its double-layer diffuser, the texture of which is reminiscent of a rocky surface, and captures the ‘unfinished’ aesthetic the designers aimed to achieve. Award-winning design brothers Pio and Tito Toso studied architecture in Venice before founding their own studio, where they create innovative lighting designs that translate traditional methods to offer contemporary pieces for the 21.
