I’m a fan of this black platform bed for its clean lines and low-profile design - it slots easily into minimalist, industrial or Scandi schemes. The steel slats provide firm support without the need for a bulky divan, and the raised frame leaves room for under-bed storage boxes to keep clutter out of sight.
Styling tip: soften the look with a chunky knit throw or velvet cushions in muted tones, and introduce natural-wood bedside tables or a wicker hamper to warm up the metal. A simple pendant lamp above each side will draw the eye upwards and balance the bed’s linear form.
