Description

A beautiful industrial-inspired piece, the Mesh 3 Light Diner Pendant Bar features 3 lights encompassed in a large mesh cage, perfect for creating a centrepiece above any kitchen island or breakfast bar. The antique brass finish creates a beautiful warm pop of colour, reflecting the light beautifully into your room while also providing great task lighting where it’s needed most.

Our Stylist Says

This bar pendant offers a great industrial-chic vibe, especially with its antique bronze finish and mesh detailing. I love how it blends utilitarian charm with a contemporary edge, making it versatile for various interiors. It works particularly well in kitchens, dining areas, or modern open-plan spaces that embrace raw, textured finishes. For styling, consider pairing it with minimalist or vintage-inspired furnishings, and opt for Edison-style bulbs to enhance its retro appeal. Hanging multiple units can also create a striking visual effect over a large dining table or breakfast bar, delivering both function and a stylish focal point.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
