Description
In the Meltdown floor lamp, the illuminating function has become a pretext for the creation of an object with a resolutely daring personality. Like a cascade of pearls, the five coloured glass globes perform a balancing act on the end of the slender metal stems. The globes are available in a stunning colour palette: amber, tobacco, rose pink, amethyst, light blue and dove grey. The globes point in different directions to diffuse the light in several ways: they flood the space with light. The light given off by the Meltdown lamp creates an exclusive and aloof ambiance. A sculptural and sophisticated light construction that explores the notion of balance. The fruit of the ancient art of master glass-blowers, the Meltdown lamp diffusers are made of coloured, hand-blown moulded glass. Given the hand-crafted manufacture process, any uneven colouring or thickness, or any air bubbles should be seen as precious features.
