The Melooni pattern was created by famous Finnish illustrator and graphic designer Maija Isola in 1963. Inspired by Pop Art, the Melooni print features the deconstructed image of a melon. This abstract pattern consists of three concentric ovals. Over the decades, Marimekko has reissued this pattern in different vibrant colour palettes to fully bring out its bold nature. Cheerful, chic and graphic, the collection of Marimekko fabrics brightens up your interior! This large cushion is covered with a cotton cover and is filled with recycled polyester padding. The cover of this cushion can be removed (zipped opening). Created in 1951, Marimekko is a state of mind, a way of life based on creativity, freedom of spirit and inventiveness. Its notoriety dates back to 1960, the year in which Jackie Kennedy made several public appearances in dresses designed by Marimekko. The brand went on to enjoy enormous success, which continues today with a range of clothing and decorative accessories in vibrant colours, for a house full of inspiration!
