Description
This rustic jute rug is characterised by a flat weave in a natural colourway with reddish tones that add warmth and depth. Melia is hand-woven by skilled artisans in Jaipur and features a linear pattern overlaid with abstract details that’s subtle and easy to live with. Sure to add texture and interest to even the simplest of spaces. This rug is crafted from sustainable Jute fibres, which is vegetable-based and incredibly durable and hardwearing material. Jute is made from a plant that grows in India where our rugs are made. It is sustainable and biodegradable. Compared to other natural materials such as Sisal or Coir, Jute is soft under foot so you can walk comfortably on it without shoes, or sit on it.
