The Grey Essential Live Edge Dining Table is a perfect choice: handcrafted from sustainable sourced solid Acacia Wood, this dining table is lightly stained in a grey, matte finish, with a solid metal base. It can seat 6-8 people. The uniqueness of this range is given by the variations in the wood, together with the natural knots and slight cracks which are part of its character.

I’m a big fan of this grey live-edge dining table for its clean lines and natural top - it balances an industrial frame with the warmth of light wood. It works equally well in a Scandi-inspired space or a modern farmhouse kitchen, especially when paired with matching benches or a mix of upholstered chairs for a more eclectic look.
For styling, keep things simple: a linen runner down the middle, a couple of low vases or a wooden bowl as a centrepiece, and a cluster of dining chairs in soft neutrals to soften the metal legs. Add a textured rug underneath and pendant lighting above to zone the area and enhance the table’s honest, laid-back appeal.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
