I’m a fan of that oak-effect table for its clean lines and realistic grain, which make it a versatile anchor in both Scandi-inspired and contemporary farmhouse schemes. It’s practical for everyday use - the laminate surface wipes down easily - and the six-seater size works well in open-plan kitchens or smaller dining rooms.
To style it, try a simple linen runner and a low, foliage-rich centrepiece to keep sightlines clear, then mix in chairs of different materials (think rattan, steel or upholstered) for a relaxed, collected look. A bold, graphic rug underneath will help define the space and add warmth.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
