Description

Handwoven in a complex process by skilled artisans on a vertical loom, the Medanoso shares its pattern with sand ripples, which is why we named it after two of the world’s tallest dunes. Our original was sand coloured as well, but this version is a light sage which brings a tranquil touch to interiors. The colour is achieved through an abrash finishing process attained through the dying of the yarn before it is woven, which results in a mottled effect that runs through the rug. This means that each piece will have its own individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Medanoso rug in light sage for its versatile and calming hue, which works particularly well in neutral or pastel-toned interiors. Its understated design makes it an ideal grounding piece that adds texture without overpowering a space. This rug is perfect for living rooms or bedrooms that aim for a relaxed, sophisticated feel. For styling, consider layering it over a larger, coarser-textured rug for added depth, or pair with natural materials like linen and wood for a cohesive, organic look. Its light sage tone is also easy to incorporate into both contemporary and traditional schemes, making it a practical choice for a wide range of interiors.
