Price History

Description

Handwoven in a complex process by skilled artisans on a vertical loom, the Medanoso shares its pattern with sand ripples, which is why we named it after two of the world’s tallest dunes. Our original was sand coloured as well, but this version is a chalky colour which brings a sophisticated touch to interiors. The colour is achieved through an abrash finishing process attained through the dying of the yarn before it is woven, which results in a mottled effect that runs through the rug. This means that each piece will have its own individual characteristics.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug for its versatile, understated look. The chalk tone makes it a great neutral base, perfect for contemporary, coastal, or Scandi interiors. Its simplicity allows it to blend seamlessly with patterned or solid furnishings, adding warmth and texture without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include layering it over hardwood or stone floors to soften the look, or using it as a unifying piece in an open-plan lounge or bedroom. Due to its subtle colour, it works well with both soft accessories and bold accents, making it a flexible choice for various colour schemes.
