Styling-wise, tuck a woven basket on the lower shelf for extra storage, top it with a small ceramic lamp and a stack of books, and finish with a sprig of greenery or a sculptural vase to keep the look fresh and practical.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
