Our Stylist Says
I love this cozy living velvet bed for its modern, plush look and substantial presence. The dark grey tone is incredibly versatile, making it a great anchor piece in both contemporary and transitional interiors, especially if you want a luxe yet understated aesthetic. Its channel-headboard design adds a touch of elegance without feeling overly formal, perfect for creating a relaxed, inviting bedroom. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or patterned bedding to highlight the velvet’s texture-think crisp white linens or muted jewel tones. Additionally, layering with throw cushions or a textured throw can soften the look further. This bed works well in spaces aiming for a chic, sophisticated vibe but is equally suitable in a cosy guest room or master suite where comfort meets style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
