Description
The Mayfair King Size ottoman bed frame combines a silver upholstered finish with a lift-up storage base, giving you genuine hidden storage beneath the mattress rather than wasted space under the bed. At 158x218cm, it makes a genuine centrepiece for a modern bedroom, with upholstery that adds a softer, more hotel-like feel than a standard slatted frame. The upholstered frame is designed to be the visual centrepiece of the room in its own right, without needing additional lighting to make an impact. The ottoman storage base is one of those features that quietly transforms how a bedroom works day to day: spare bedding, out-of-season clothing, suitcases and everything else that normally ends up under the bed in boxes instead has a single, easily accessible space, opened with a simple lift of the mattress platform rather than crawling around on the floor. Every layer is put together to a consistent, durable standard, so the comfort and support you get on day one is still there years down the line, with upholstery chosen to keep its colour and texture despite years of getting in and out of bed. It's a particularly good option for anyone in a smaller bedroom or flat where a separate chest of drawers or under-bed boxes simply aren't practical, letting the bed itself take on double duty as both where you sleep and where you store things. On the practical side, with assembly support included, it's a straightforward piece to get up and running, whether you fit it yourself or take advantage of the assembly service, and given the size and weight of an upholstered ottoman frame, it's worth having a second pair of hands for the build. Practical, durable and finished to a genuinely modern standard, the Mayfair bed frame is built to quietly deliver a better night's sleep, night after night.
Our Stylist Says
I love this Mayfair king size ottoman bed in silver for its sleek, modern design and practicality. The silver finish makes it incredibly versatile, working well in contemporary, minimalist, or even Scandinavian-inspired interiors. Its understated elegance lends itself to neutral or pastel colour schemes, while the internal storage offers a practical solution for decluttering bedrooms. To style it effectively, consider pairing with crisp, layered bedding and metallic or glass accents for a polished look. Adding textured cushions or throws can introduce warmth and depth, making the space feel cosy without sacrificing its clean aesthetic. This bed is perfect for maximising storage in a stylish, streamlined way.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
