Description

Daily routine is the backbone of family life. Play time, nap time. Then do it all again. Introducing the new Swift. A multi-use, stylish 3-in-1 travel cot that can be used as a newborn bassinet, a cot and a safe, sturdy play yard, from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old. And at only 7kg, it's the lightest of its kind. With a lightning-fast, one-second fold, Swift is easily the quickest travel cot you’ll ever put up, down and up again, at home or while away. The higher level for newborns prevents you from straining your back when putting your baby in and taking your baby out. The 2 stages mattress can easily be unzipped in half to create a cosier bassinet level for newborns. Less than 8kg, the Swift is super lightweight and can be carried easily from one room to the other. The bassinet layer is very easy to attach and remove thanks to small hooks and thanks to the travel bag, you can take the Swift with you wherever you go. When folded, the Swift is super compact and can easily be stored away. The elevated travel cot prevents the mattress from being in direct contact with the cold floor when using the toddler cot. The 3cm foam mattress is extra comfortable and for a peaceful sleep and the Swift is surrounded by mesh fabrics that let you keep an eye on your child, and keep them comfortable with plenty of ventilation. With luxurious finishings and elegant colours, the Swift will perfectly fit in your interior.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sleek, modern travel cot for its versatile design and neutral Graphite colour, which pairs well with contemporary and minimalist interiors. It works especially well in nurseries that embrace a monochrome palette or that incorporate natural textures like wood or soft textiles. Practical styling tips include positioning it near a cosy rocking chair or beside a sleek changing station to keep essential items close. Its simple, understated look means it won’t dominate a room but instead complement other furniture pieces, making it an ideal choice for both city apartments and country homes. A smart addition for practical parents who want functionality without compromising on interior style.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
