Description

The Matteo metal kitchen stool in teal brings Art Deco-inspired furniture into your home. The thick brushed metal base of the stool is in a curved design with built-in footrest, perfect for perching at the breakfast island. The Matteo range features a padded seat, along with our premium sustainable velvet upholstery, created with sustainability in mind. The result is a contemporary style that adds luxe design without compromising on comfort. For a rich depth of colour and unique softness, our velvet used in this product is not only of the highest quality but it is made from 100% recycled PET yarns so it is kinder to the environment too. Our Stylist Says

I love this barstool for its sleek combination of colour and materials, especially the teal recycled velvet seat paired with brass legs. It’s a versatile piece that works well in contemporary kitchens or breakfast bars, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the space. The brass legs bring a touch of warmth and luxe, making it suitable for both cosy cafes-style settings or more polished, modern interiors. For styling tips, I’d suggest pairing it with other brass accents or jewel-toned accessories to create a coordinated look. It also works well in a relaxed, eclectic space when mixed with textured materials like woven rugs or matte ceramics. Practical tip: because of the velvet, it’s best to keep it in a low-traffic area or ensure it’s styled in a way that limits heavy wear to maintain its appearance.

About Cult Furniture

Founded in 2010, Cult Furniture's goal was to make designer future accessible to all. They offer an exciting collection of modern, stylish furniture and lighting, and with their focus on trend-led designs, Cult Furniture allows you to make a contemporary, fashion-forward statement in your space.

Origins and Evolution

Back in 2010, Cult's founder was on a mission a spruce-up for his award-winning cocktail bar, Lost Society.

However, he was met with limited furniture options that struck the right balance between trendiness and affordability. That "Aha!" moment came when he realised there's a gap in the UK for designer-look furniture without the hefty price tag.

Since then, Cult has grown significantly, with a team of over 100 professionals, the brand has positioned itself as the ultimate destination for home decor enthusiasts.

Not to mention, their expansive London showroom that promises visitors an immersive experience, made up of themed zones that reflect a distinct style or function.

They also have a mega 140,000 square foot warehouse in Essex, filled to the brim with items awaiting their new homes.

More than Just Furniture

Whilst Cult Furniture's focus is of course about bringing snazzy furniture to our homes, it's the whole experience that really gets people talking. They're not just selling furniture; they're sharing their passion for design.

Not only do they promise some of the market's most competitive prices, but they also excel in speed - offering next-day delivery for all in-stock items.

Planet-friendly, Heart-driven

Sustainability is at the forefront of Cult's operations. Their green efforts aren't just limited to sustainable materials, but also extend to every touchpoint - right from sourcing to packaging.

They prioritise durable and eco-friendly materials like mango wood, oak, beech, and ash - all of which stand the test of time, both in homes and against environmental degradation.

Packaging is another area they shine in, striking a balance between minimising waste and ensuring product protection. After all, a sustainable future is one where both the planet and people thrive.
