I’d call this the Matteo stool, and what I like most is its mix of black velvet and brass - it feels both durable and a bit indulgent without being over-the-top. Its slim frame and low-profile seat work well in contemporary kitchens, pared-back scandi schemes or even an Art Deco-inspired dining bar.
Styling tip: team one or two stools with light timber or marble countertops to balance the dark upholstery, then pick up the brass detail elsewhere (think pendant lights or a mixer tap) for cohesion. Because the velvet is tightly upholstered, it’s easy to wipe clean, so you’ll maintain that smart look even in busy family kitchens.
