Designed to sit alongside our Matis dining table, this bench is crafted from oak wood in a range of oiled finishes. Its design is characterised by raw details that echo the rustic setting of Soho Farmhouse, with no two pieces exactly alike.

I’m a fan of the Matis bench for its clean, pared-back silhouette and generous 240 cm span - it easily anchors an open-plan dining area or doubles as a console in a long hallway. The natural oak tone works beautifully in Scandi-inspired, contemporary or Japandi schemes, and pairs well with muted linens, tactile rugs and simple ceramics. To style it, try a row of low-profile cushions in soft neutrals for casual dining, or add woven baskets underneath for extra storage. Keep tabletop accessories minimal - a slim runner and a couple of sculptural vases will reinforce its uncluttered look.
