Description
The French designer, Inga Sempé, is on a roll! For Hay, she designs a collection of charismatic lamps which are simple, fun and elegant. Matin combines visual delicacy and robustness. With her Matin lamps, the designer proves her love of colour and joyous minimalism to us once again. The pleated cotton lampshade has a delicious retro charm. Its traditional look is modernised by a range of vivid, current hues. Matin also illustrates Inga Sempé's fascination with folds: the designer explores how folds can transform a material and change its shape and texture. By playing with convention, Inga Sempé is updating the traditional table lamp's outline. This Matin wall light has an adjustable head that can be tilted approximately 45 degrees up and down to create ambient lighting as well as directional lighting. Very elegant, the wall frame is in polished brass finish steel wire with black ABS elements. The light source is an integrated LED providing diffused light, along with a dimmer on the cable. The Matin wall light is suitable for all environments, from the office to the bedroom. Designer Inga Sempé on her work: "I try to make simple objects (but not minimalist) with a particular character which will please people from 20 to 100 years old. ".
