The Matilda is constructed from solid, hardwood and well covered in soft foam to give the perfect combination of comfort and support. The suite is covered in a luxurious velvet fabric and is available in a stunning array of colours. All materials meet or exceed UK safety regulations.

I’m a big fan of this teal accent chair for the way its rich velvet and subtle channel-stitching bring both depth and texture to a room. Its slim, gold-tone legs give it a light, mid-century feel that works brilliantly in contemporary, art-deco or even pared-back Scandi schemes.
Styling tip: tuck a soft, neutral throw over one arm and pop it beside a slim metal side table to create a cosy reading nook. It also sits well against a pale backdrop or emphasised with a contrasting rug - just keep surrounding accessories minimal so its colour can really sing.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
