Designed by Signe Henriksen and Peter Rützou of Space Copenhagen, the Accent collection is a range of coffee and lounge tables with a sculptural and handcrafted feel. With clean lines and smooth surfaces, these stark geometric pieces look great from every angle. Each table is made from sustainably sourced solid oak, with black, white and grey colour finishes to suit any space.

I’m a fan of the little Mater side table for its clean lines and matt-lacquered oak finish - it feels fresh without shouting for attention. Its compact 45cm diameter and 42cm height make it ideal as a bedside surface in a guest room, a drinks table in a snug sitting area or even to corral magazines and a plant next to a reading chair.
Styling-wise, pair it with soft textiles (think boucle pouffes or linen cushions) and keep accessories simple - a small lamp, a single bud vase or a sculptural candleholder. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired or pared-back contemporary schemes, but equally brightens up a pared-down industrial loft or a neutral country cottage.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
