Description
The Marylebone four poster metal bed frame exclusive to OAT Home brings timeless Victorian elegance into the modern bedroom. Inspired by traditional Victorian-era design this bed creates a striking and atmospheric centrepiece. A sturdy metal slatted base provides reliable support and long-lasting comfort, while polished antique brass finials and decorative detailing on the headboard and footboard add refined heritage character. The Marylebone 4 poster bed stands at 182cm high so no issue for lower height bedrooms. Available in classic dip-coated white or bold black, the Marylebone suits both period and contemporary interiors. Supplied flat packed for easy manoeuvrability, it includes clear, simple instructions for straightforward home assembly. Complete the set with one of our recommended quality UK made mattresses.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this metal bed frame for its classic and understated appeal, making it quite versatile across various interior styles. Its traditional design with clean lines works especially well in period-inspired or shabby-chic interiors, but with the white finish, it can also complement modern or Scandinavian schemes. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral-coloured bedding and layered textures, such as knitted throws or linen sheets, to soften the metal’s rigidity. Adding a statement headboard or decorative pillows can also personalise the look. As it’s a double, it’s ideal for guest rooms or master bedrooms where a simple yet timeless centrepiece is desired.
