Treat yourself to texture with the globally inspired Marley Wool rug. Crafted using 100% wool with tufted accents, the Marley design is raw yet refined with a contemporary monochrome geometric design. Hand-tufted by skilled rug artisans in India, the flatwoven composition is soft underfoot in warm-touch wool. The versatility of flatweave rugs makes Marley Wool perfect for any space in the house. Don't forget to buy our handy anti-slip mat,. Here,. Available in a range of sizes. This is a dense hand-made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and regular vacuuming. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.
The Marley wool rug in grey and black is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and transitional interiors. Its neutral tones make it a great foundation for layering different textures and colours, helping to create a warm, inviting space. I love how the neutral colour palette complements natural materials like wood, leather, and linen. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist furnishings for a cleaner look, or adding colourful cushions and throws to make the space more cosy and personalised. It's especially suitable for bedrooms and open-plan living areas where a soft, durable area rug can add both comfort and visual interest without overwhelming the room.
